The Crucible Vlog Responses In a vlog (video blog) you are to respond to one of the questions asked. You should candidly respond in a 1 minute- 1:30 second video that will be sent to me. A few tips when vlogging:
-Decide if you want to have a script in front of you or speak impromptu - Plan your video session wisely. Look at the prompts ahead of time, then film. Maybe make an outline of your talking points. - Don’t worry about being awkward - Use eye contact/connect - Use headsets or record some place quiet. Avoid background noise. - Be aware of your background. - Be aware of lighting - You can be playful! Try jump cuts, black and white, comment bubbles etc. - This is a real conversation. Put yourself into it. Feel free to ask me a question in it. - Do take this assignment as a grade. Yes, we can be playful, but I expect some thoughtful and analytical dialogue.

While there are many similarities between Arthur Miller’s The Crucible and the Salem Witch Hunt, there are also many differences. Please research 2 differences in each category listed and write a paragraph for each category, explaining and analyzing the differences. Paraphrase and CITE your sources used after each paragraph. Your paragraph should also include why YOU think Arthur Miller made the change from history and what effect you feel it has on the play. You are not to copy and paste from websites.

Chose a character from “The Crucible” and analyze him/her and his/her importance to “The Crucible”. Ask yourself, how did this character act throughout the play? Does he/she change behavior throughout the play? Any reason why? What motivates how the character acts? Does that motivation change at all and why? How is this character’s behavior and belief important to Miller’s story? Let these questions lead to other questions.
Analyze that character and construct a well-developed paper with support (you should use quotes from the text- cite your textbook with the page number in parentheses after the quote) that shows that you have analyzed him/her.
